With an MSc.Ed. and a B.A., he is an Ontario Certified teacher with over 30 years of experience in public education. He holds qualifications as a Reading Specialist and in special education. As the producer and host of Rogers Television’s Teacher Time, he has also appeared on CFRB 1010 AM, Breakfast Television, and Canada AM. Additionally, he has authored 12 books on education, covering subjects from math to special education.
Vice- Principal Mr. Stuart
With 36 years of teaching experience across high schools, colleges, and primary schools, he has worked with both special needs and gifted students. Specializing in Math, he also teaches Business, Physics, Economics, Sciences, and Computer Science at the high school level. He holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science Engineering from Tel-Aviv University, followed by a degree in education, blending technical expertise with teaching passion.
English Teachers
She is an award-winning international writing instructor, Ontario Certified Teacher, and author of over 20 children’s books. With teaching experience in Canada, South Korea, and Australia, she has helped thousands of students with her straightforward approach to academic and creative writing. Believing in the power of consistent practice and valuable feedback, she helps students refine their writing skills, ensuring continuous improvement and growth in their writing abilities.
With over 25 years of teaching experience, Gary has held roles as a Vice Principal, Guidance Counselor, and English/Literacy lead teacher. Now retired from the public education system, he focuses on writing as a published author. Gary employs a balanced literacy approach, helping students analyze and recognize literary elements, apply them to their writing, and think critically. Students learn to structure essays, expand ideas with detail and figurative language, and communicate both creatively and formally.
With over 27 years of teaching experience in English, she graduated with a Baccalaureate from Alfred de Musset in Paris, France. Polly then continued her education in North America, earning a degree in Radio and Television from the University of Toronto and Ryerson. Her rich educational background, combining both European and North American influences, has shaped her effective teaching methods and passion for both language and communication.
After earning a BA in English from the University of Western Ontario, he spent 13 years in Advertising and Marketing. For the past 16 years, he has taught English to students of various ages and levels. He also served as Director of Studies for an English youth program for 10 years, where international students learned English while exploring and enjoying Ontario. His experience spans both education and practical language application.
With 28 years in public education, he has taught high school English at all levels and served as a guidance counselor, AP Program Coordinator, and baseball coach. He has also tutored students of all ages in reading and writing. Holding an Honours bachelor’s degree in English literature, a Bachelor of Education, and a certificate in Book Publishing, he is an avid reader and enjoys writing screenplays for movies and TV.
He has taught for 30 years with the York Region District School Board and holds a History and Geography degree from York University, along with a Bachelor of Education. Licensed to teach in Ontario, he has taught all grade levels, including Gifted Classes. For 16 years, he was a Gifted Grade 8 Teacher at WB PS in Unionville, Ontario, a school ranked among the top in the province for academic achievement.
A certified schoolteacher at an Ontario public school, she has experience teaching grades 1 to 12. She holds a bachelor’s degree in child development and a bachelor’s degree in education. Passionate about teaching, she is dedicated to supporting students at all levels, helping them grow and succeed throughout their learning journey. Her commitment to education ensures that each student receives the guidance and encouragement they need to thrive.
Based in Canada, she is an excellent English teacher with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Calgary and 20 years of experience. Specializing in grammar, writing, and pronunciation, her dynamic and engaging teaching style creates lively classes. Passionate about teaching, she finds joy in seeing her students progress. A Queen's University graduate, he has a strong background in inter-school debates, competing in Canadian and international events, including world championships, where he earned national runner-up honors. He served as the competition coordinator for the 2020 Canadian Debate Cup and as training director for the Queen's Debate League. Now, he teaches debate and public speaking at a private school, sharing his passion and expertise in effective communication with his students.
A 4-time Honor Roll recipient, she is an experienced coach with over 6 years of experience. She majored in English and Philosophy at Queen's University and served as the 2022 Vice President of the Queen's Debating Union. Additionally, she was President of the Father John Redmond Debate Society and Deputy Leader of the Liberal Party at Queen's Model Parliament, showcasing her leadership and debating skills.

She holds an Honours degree in Pure Math and French Studies, along with a degree in education from York University. With over 20 years of experience as a high school teacher, she was a high-achieving student, earning several university awards, including the York University Renewable Entrance Scholarship for maintaining an A average, the City of North York Scholarship, and the Queen Elizabeth Silver Scholarship for academic excellence.
With over 15 years of experience teaching Math, Physics, and Chemistry in Ontario secondary schools, he holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Calgary. Known for his friendly attitude, innovative teaching methods, and commitment to excellence, he has earned recognition for his strong work ethic. He excels at engaging students, even those with little interest in the subject, and fostering a positive learning environment.

She is a seasoned biology teacher with over 15 years of experience teaching at the high school, college, and university levels. Holding an Honours BSc in Biology from UFO and an MSc in Biology from CU, she adapts her teaching methods to support diverse learning needs, including students with ADHD or autism, ensuring that each learner receives personalized and effective instruction tailored to their strengths.
He holds a Biochemistry degree from McGill University and a Biomedical Engineering degree from the University of Toronto. A founder with over five publications and presentations, he is a two-time NSERC recipient and ranked in the top 1% in exams. A dedicated French teacher, she holds a Bachelor of Education with a minor in French. Born in France, French is her native language. With 21 years of experience, she taught for 12 years at French Immersion schools in the Calgary Board of Education and spent 9 years teaching French at a private school in Costa Rica. Her extensive background and cultural knowledge enrich her approach to teaching the French language.
Born and raised in Toulouse, France, he studied French literature and began teaching drama and music to children. He later earned a master’s in music in Budapest and has extensive experience teaching French to students of all ages. With strong knowledge of French immersion and Ontario’s curriculum, he is passionate about sharing his language and culture, creating engaging and meaningful learning experiences for every student.

A passionate artist since childhood, she holds a fine arts degree and has over 20 years of teaching experience. Skilled in both Chinese and Western painting, she is a respected member of the Calligraphers and Painters Association. Known for her dedication, many of her students have won awards, and she is highly valued by both parents and children for her expertise and commitment to fostering artistic growth.
He is a distinguished scientist, chess master, and president of the North York Chess Association, which regularly organizes chess tournaments for children, youth, and adults. The students he has trained have consistently achieved excellent results. He aims to help every child become a skilled young chess player, while also using chess practice to develop their logical thinking and enhance their ability to respond quickly and effectively to changing situations.
